Hi! My name is Anna Dorian and I am an actress in the Chicagoland area. My goal is to fulfill my childhood dream of acting for the rest of my life.

A little more about me…

Growing up, I was outspoken about wanting to become an actress, but I didn’t actively start making headway until I grew out of my shyness, which was around when I graduated college with a degree in Accounting. I’ve been grinding ever since.

I was 15 when I immigrated to the United States from the Philippines and settled in Torrance, California. It was a magical time of culture shock and trying to fit in, so I stuck close to theatre as much as I could, getting small roles and working crew jobs here and there.

I took acting classes outside of college, from Studio City to Santa Monica. Then I drove further down and took classes in San Diego, eventually moving to Seattle and then Chicago, where I took classes at The Second City.

How do I pay for all this? Waitressing, which has helped build my confidence immensely, but also having a good support system - my husband, my family, my friends.

Here’s some stills from productions I did in the year I lived in Seattle - Mama Won’t Fly (Hayley Quinn) and A Midsummer Night’s Dream (First Fairy).
